We watched this video of a dog at the beach. Here are a couple of our stories.





The black and white fluffy dog is making footprints in the breakable sand. He is running in the waves. He is poking his slobbery tongue out. He is trying to block the waves. He's splashing and having fun. - Braxton

The big black and white fluffy dog is running into the water. The dog is chasing the waves. The dog is sticking his tongue out of his mouth. The dogs footprints are tiny. The dogs footprints are running.

    Wow! What a great writers you are! I love the way you used so many of different doing words and also describing words! I bet you had great fun writing this, like we did when we wrote about Maisie the dog (Miss Harris's dog) the other week!

Yesterday we tried strawberry chocolate balls. They looked amazing, I wanted to eat it straight away. They were rock solid and very hard. They smelt like candy canes. They looked like little snow balls and they tasted like they had jelly inside. - Theo     Yesterday I ate strawberry chocolate balls and they looked like a little pink egg. They felt sticky, breakable and hard. They smelt like marshmallows and strawberries. Thank you for letting us have a strawberry chocolate ball. Comic writing!

"We have been learning about comic strips and how to write them. We found out that what the character is talking about needs to match the actions. It took us a long time because we had to colour them all in! We found it challenging to colour within the lines.
